Manta Engineering was founded in 2023 by engineers and researchers with backgrounds in offshore and subsea technologies. The founding team combines strong academic credentials with practical experience in inspection technologies, sensor integration, and robotic systems. Below is an introduction to the core team:
Jesper Liniger
PhD in fault detection and diagnosis for offshore energy systems. Experienced in acoustic and optical sensor modalities, project management, and mechatronic design for maritime applications.
Christian Mai
PhD in autonomous robotics with specialization in perception systems and sensor fusion. Skilled in prototype development and integration of robotic systems.
Malte von Benzon
PhD in automation for underwater robotics. Expertise in prototyping, modeling, and test execution in collaboration with industrial and defense stakeholders.
